AAC Contracting assisted in the one-year renovation of the renowned Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York, the site of both the 1980 and 1932 Olympics. We completed asbestos abatement above the ceiling of the 1980 rink, famously known for the "Miracle on Ice."
Additionally, we removed floor tiles and mastic from all player locker rooms, as well as water proofing material and asbestos-containing paint from the exterior of the building. AAC also undertook the removal of over 4,000 square feet of transited pipe from underneath the historic Olympic oval, where Eric Heiden secured five gold medals.
