This 330,000 sq. ft. facility is where AAC installed Cafco Blaze-Shield II Spray Applied Fireproofing (wet-mix) to all the structural steel framing and roof decking in the facility which equated to over 9,000 bags of material installed. AAC was also contracted to install the firestopping of all wall joints, wall and floor penetrations, and edge of slab, where we utilized approximately 2,200 tubes of firestop sealant and over 500 buckets of firestop joint spray.  This project utilized some unique shaft wall assemblies which required many Firestop Engineering Judgments that were designed with the help of the Hilti Firestop Engineering Team.
